If you don't have a story you can just write.....There is a rumour (insert club here) have made a bid for (insert player name here)....

And if it turns out to be bulls**t you rarely get called out on it......you also get to look down on blogs and YouTube channels from citizen reporters.....and constantly point out you can't believe anything unless it's from a trusted source...
