Some of the long-form pieces their people have put out have been really revelatory. It’ll be interesting to see if they manage to recreate the same quality of output in their UK football coverage. I’m also looking forward to seeing how their European coverage evolves - the quality of print media coverage of European leagues is not great in the UK at present IMO, outside of the Guardian.

I justified it to myself as the cost of c10 Sunday papers/c20 dailies, none of which I ever buy now anyway.
