Looking back to any of our successful patches having a decent crop of strikers is important. Very important.

I think Pukki will do well this year.

Drmic looked sharp from what I saw in preseason, but I don't think he's a 10 and it'll take a while for him to work up some understanding.

Rhodes scored goals for us last season, linked play alright and is already integrated with the squad. He'll do a job for us without any settling in and has been prolific in the past (his minutes per goal last year was good too & he did well for us when pukki was out.

Idah and Srbeny both need matches under their belts and a loan out for one or both until christmas should be a priority too.

That's exactly where I think we should be paying attention.

If klose/Hanly/Zimmermann/Tetty are all close to fitness (which the interview yesterday suggested, then I don't agree that we should be making those areas a priority (although naturally if a better player came along within budget I'd expect us to be looking)

Key - absolute key - to us this year is how we play as a team and a squad.

New players take a while to integrate & we've not been remiss in strengthening on those lines either (Drmic, Fermann, Roberts)
