Realism doesn't equal rose tinted specs doesn't equal little old Norwich

Realistically, I think we'll be competitive next year but it will (as it always will) be a struggle.

Even if we had owners who would plough huge chunks of cash in year on year and bought us some short term success the chances of us doing a Leicester /Blackburn are nearly zilch (there are loads of clubs who've had money ploughed in and gone kaboom).

Yo-yoing looks about what we can manage in the long term whatever the ownership. Point me to a similar sized club which isn't going to be sucked into a similar predicament (Stoke... Crystal Palace... Brighton... Middlesbrough... Derby... Etc etc etc)

Unless there's a player who would genuinely improve us and not screw up the team spirit I struggle to see why spending a (big) fee would make us a big club.

It's all nonsense and more reflective of people who moan about 'little old Norwich' than the people they accuse it of.

I'll enjoy what success we get, particularly when we've done it against the odds and in an interesting way.

Financially, football is absolutely stuffed, it's not a sport anymore it's a play thing for oligarchs.

I like that we're self financing and aren't beholden to the whim of an owner who has no interest or connection with the club. I'm sure that time will come, and then we'll get to see how it pans out (for good or ill), but coming into another season in the prem after all the excitement of last year I'm in no rush to see it happen.
