Buendia not quite up to speed yet but not far off and they’ll be there. The least concerns for me cos we know their quality. Good to see vrancic back in.

Hernández was great first half. Leitner showed flashes but sometimes needs to come back to the ball as trying to receive it statically won’t work in premier league. The separation gets closed down fast as Atalanta did tonight.

Byram not quite on same page yet but that’s been the same for most of our signings initially. The guy can time a tackle superbly though and showed what he’s capable of in attack at times. Idah looked a great option to hold the ball up. Srbeny shook it up although his passing isn’t great.

We pulled out of a few challenges and blocks we wouldn’t have in a league game.

Little wobbly - Klose, McLean, Heise.

Krul in goal for me at least to start with.

Again while I agree we need another DM for depth if anything, I still think our biggest issue is losing the ball in the middle of the final third. Then the DM along with everybody else is exposed with our fullbacks in attack.
