Sometimes I think spending and budget get confused

We didn’t have a particularly small budget last season. We had a big wage bill albeit a lot of it wasted on the likes of nelson, Jarvis, Naismith wildschut etc.

It’s not like everyone in the league could have afforded pukki, Rhodes, leitner and Buendia, even though the fee was only about £4-5m or so across them all.

I guess our budget for the players that actually played put us midtable somewhere. Our total outlay on wages was probably in the top 6.
