for the impatient of the board

the reason we haven't signed anyone is because we don't know how much money we have until we know who is leaving. if damo and green leave, worthy suddenly has a kitty of, say, ?4-5m. if they don't he hasn't got very much at all, other than that saved on the wages of mulryne etc.

so our list of targets largely obviously depends on who leaves and for how much.
