some have been very good and some, like Earnshaw, will be good with a balanced team to play around them. Etuhu has potential but Robinson is a lost cause, in my opinion.

All the managers you have mentioned have some pedigree and could do a good job here. However, none are certain to be an improvement. In addition, with Worthy so close to completing his 'second team' in 5 years, why bring a new manager in preventing him from doing this.

I don't like posting speculative teams, however, if we started with something liek this next season:
