other than that, I agree, he's a good fit - and does a certain job very well. Ultimately though he doesn't really have enough confidence in players who aren't obviously top class, and I suspect that they feel undermined by that - it's the opposite of "more than the sum of their parts". I don't think he'll ever really cut in the prem (unless he were to be given one of the top jobs, with really good players .. which of course won't happen)
