Last year liverpool rode luck and ref decisions to glory
Yesterday it really showed that you can rip a team apart but if lucks with the other side, its the way it goes
On another day Crouch's header would have gone in off the post instead of out. The same for Carraghers header. Then again last year they got given a goal that was never over the line against Chelsea, and thing went their way
Same goes for Juventus, last year against liverpool a dodgy linesman ruled out perfectly good goals and offsides allowing liverpool victory which they didn't deserve over the italians. This year Juve didn't deserve to go through but a huge slice of luck with Werder Bremens keeper fumbling an easy claim let they score and win on away goals
I can see either of these teams winning the trophy now
