I've thought about this

long and hard. A supporter for over 50 years, through good and bad. Some very good, some extremely bad. But this squad truly is my all time favourite. As a Lowestoftian, born in the borderlands of City/Scum allegiance, and beginning my support in the 60s and 70s when the Scum's 'glorious history' was more the present than past, it was not an easy task upholding Canary honour. As such the grittiness and success of the Saunders team led by Duncan Forbes has always held a special place for me. However this current squad has usurped that and anything since. Not only because of the wonderful football and the stories and successes of individuals and team, but primarily because of the incredible sense of unity and togetherness which is apparent both in their play, their rare defeats and setbacks, but most obviously in their celebrations as so obviously demonstrated this week.

Without doubt, my most loved team, squad, manager over more than 50 years. Truly wonderful times...
