Interesting marketing strategy

Financially they are actually better off with 11,999 season ticket sales than 14,000 in terms of fate receipts. Guess they are taking the wider view and looking to build their support up/banking on people spending extra money on beer/pies etc.

In fact if they were a couple short of the 12,000 mark we should all club together and take them over it as getting to 12,000 would cost them a few hundred thousand!
