I pretty much guarantee we will be
This whole debacle has just demonstrated the obvious reason why people join the EU and aren't dumb enough to leave. As long as the EU sticks together it is a big and powerful enough bloc to not be pushed around in negotiations (hence us not being able to make a dent in them during this whole Brexit process).
You can be on the inside shaping things or on the outside being pushed about by the big boys. We've chosen to weaken ourselves and be one of those being pushed around, and that is quite quite clear to everyone.
Heaven only knows what a post-Brexit trade deal with the US will look like - it will basically just involve us bending over and doing whatever they want, because we'll be both desperate AND weak. A(nother) total national humiliation.
