Here we are at a time in our civilisation where continued human existence is being called into question and global coordination is going to be essential, yet we’ve spent the last few years engineering a situation where we have voted to create more borders and divisions and then follow it up by spending time debating the ways in which we’re going to either continue the farce or make it worse.
