My only Germanic experience of the time was...
...a middle school trip to the Rhineland, probably 91 or 92 - 90 tops. It was bloody hot, so it must've been a summer trip and I got a 90s bucket hat in their flag stripes with Deutschland on it and I remember it was definitely after the World Cup Semi, so prob not 90 then as that would've been too close to be wanting to wear that. Probably 91 then as summer of 92 was before the step up to high school and I can remember displaying my photos of the trip in the middle school hall after the trip. Still have the albums in our photo print trunk in the bedroom. Unless it was Easter 92.
Fuck knows without checking if I'd scribbled the date on the back of the prints and you lot won't care either way.
I'm tired.
