I just don't blame Cameron for offering it
He had to do something to hold his party together and it looked fairly risky free.
He should be blamed for rubbish renegotiation (at a horrible time for Europe - he could have delayed) and a rubbish campaign full of lies!
Biggest mistakes though came later in serving article 50 without a plan (remember Corbyn called for it on day 1) and then wasting more negotiation time with another general election.
