Corbyn has been beyond useless

His "tests" were ludicrous - one of the six (from memory) was "we will approve the PM's deal if and only if it offers the precise same benefits as membership of the EU". Any primary school has whole classes full of people who could explain why that's silly.

His own party has a defined position, but he doesn't like it, so instead does his utmost to push forward a different line instead.

It's a shame because he's exactly the kind of Not-The-Usual-Suspect who could have made a real difference. John McDonnell has similar views and I can't help thinking that of the two he's done rather better - whether you agree with those views or not - and wouldn't have been the better choice as Labour leader, assuming the policy reset Corbyn represented as a given (and heaven knows we could do with some policy resets).
