Who would lead the Tories? May - surely not. Raab/Boris/Gove - surely Boris. Where though do Tory Remainers go? TIG seems unlikely (and isn't a real party just yet so couldn't legally field candidates anyway).

What would Labour's policy on Brexit actually be, given the leader seemingly disavows the policy democratically set by his own conference?

Who were the Lib Dems and have they ever made policy commitments before an election and then broken them once in office?

UKIP were always a bit gammony but are now proper racists - so much so that even Farage has left them. People might not realise that; or they might. Not sure they'd get a lot of Westminster seats, if any, though if we did EU elections they'd probably do quite well. Farage's new party might win one seat, if they're lucky, but I wouldn't bank on it.

Greens would hold Brighton, I reckon, and that's about it.

Overall I think the result would be inconclusive and everyone would be drawing different conclusions about "what the people think" - of course "the people" don't actually think anything in the sense that psephologists like to proclaim.

In terms of Brexit I doubt we'd be any further forward. Both main parties have strong Leave wings and strong Remain wings and both of them should have recognised this and moved the Brexit debate out of the party system, as it were. Instead each tried to leverage it to their own advantage, resulting in the world of f**kery we now inhabit.

It's all so wonderfully uplifting.
