I think brilliantly is stretching it a bit

more like "he keeps popping up with goals or assists that make it hard to drop him." He got his goal on saturday towards the end of a half where he was pretty ordinary.

I still think the team is better and plays better with Vrancic or Leitner in it and I would still change it for the Boro game (because I think that's a game where if we keep the ball we can frustrate and play around them) but i'm not Farke and I doubt he will change it and to be fair whilst we keep winning then its understandable that he doesn't change it. As Bailey highlights today we (or I) perhaps just need to accept that we play slightly differently with Mclean in the team with the lack of "control" compensated for by the extra goal threat.
