I had a revelation like that.
Got up one morning after a big night out in smoky pubs, about four months after quitting, and stumbled into the bathroom where, pissed up, I had discarded my clothes from the night before on the floor - and they FUCKING STANK. That was the first time I was able to appreciate how bad I had been making my clothes smell.
