football numbers
With a nod to that there @KieranMaguire
Last season the Football Lge’s TV revenue was 114m; a sum 38-times greater than its revenue from iFollow (3m, or just 41k per club)
After abusing FFP Leics were fined 3.1m and Bournemouth 4.75m. Chicken-feed in comparison to the riches that resulted.
Meanwhile, for the same 2017-18 period:
Aston Villa made a loss of 71m (wages of 73m)
Wolves made a loss of 55m (wages of 44m)
Birmingham (the Redknapp effect) made a loss of 37.5m (wages of 38m)
Cardiff made a loss of 34m (wages of 48m)
Reading made a loss of 21m (wages of 35m)
lovely ol' ambition
