Did you listen to it?

I know it sounds horrendous after the event but having heard it at the time I really dont think he meant that people who are protesting are as bad as people who abuse nurses. It seemed to me that he was making the point that people turn to abuse (and violence) quicker these days and that this could be seen both with the abuse of nurses and current situation at Norwich. He didn't just pluck the nurses thing out of thin air, their was an item about it on the news just prior to Skippers comments and he was asked about it. He does have a point when he says that the current situation is nowhere near as bad as ten years ago yet demonstrations are now bigger.
