If the performances didn't sound so dire
I was willing to backtrack when we were on the 5 game run
The leicester seemed to be the most worrying though, they sounded like they battered us but couldn't finish, and we got a breakaway goal
The test was preston, to see whether we really had made progress, and we failed that one before it started
I'd happilly back worthington if he turned it around, it would truely prove that he could be an all round manager, ie one that can rally the team when its rock bottom, cos to me most of his time here he's only been a decent manager when the morale round the place is high, when its low (02/03, big chunks of 04/05 and most of this season) he doesn't seem to know how to dig the players out of it
Yes we've results recently, but everybody knows Leeds is going to be another palace
