Gambling support in 2019
Hi people. Interested in opinion of the broad church that is wotb.
I was a gambling addict (and ncfc season ticket holder for a time) since the age of 16 (1993). Became a teacher, kept it all secret, lost wife and kid and nearly ended up in prison for theft.
Today i live in manchester, am about to gain my masters in therapy and have plans to open the first exclusively only gambling clinic in manchester(still had time to attend preston defeat..
Soz!).
Addiction is a nasty thing amd while there will be a few who want to criticise, wondered what people thought at the offer of a free service tp those who need support with their gambling but who don't wish to sit in a public group. This isnt to replace ga but to offer esp young men and all women a safe and confidential service to help them through this illness.
Id really really appreciate people's thoughts, especially regarding how needed such a service might be, nit just in mtr but across the uk? Otbc. James x
