Talking of Bristol City - ahh the memories

I was one of the few who turned up to see Bristol City at home bitd for the lowest ever attendance at that time after a bad run of form but we won 4-1 in torrential rain with a Peter Silvester hattrick (or did he get two...can't remember). Think the crowd was about 9,000. Very sparse in that there Barclay Stand.

Also on the day Colchester beat Leeds in the Cup we beat Bristol City at home 3-2 (John Galley scored one of theirs) with big John Manning scoring twice for us as we came back from 2-0 down to win.

Then in our promotion year we beat them at Ashton gate on and off the pitch.

Yes, you is well old grandad innit.
