Gunn was a rubbish manager, but he did provide lambert with a very good squad for league 1.
Lambert hasn’t gone anywhere since and changed the trajectory of that club.
He has also fallen out with every club he’s managed more or less. Perhaps not wolves, Blackburn and stoke, but he wasn’t at those clubs very long.
I don’t delight in his erratic behaviour though, it’s sad. He should be nothing but a hero, but he’s managed to sour that and I don’t know why.
