for the record, I would have sacked Worthginton half way through last season and have always said so because I could see then what he is - a tactically limited manager who got lucky with injuries, had a very solid back four in its prime in the Champ year and had Darren Huckerby in his prime.
In about 70% of our wins that season we scored early then sat back and defended for our lives.
I have never been a fan of NW, his tactics or ability.
Seems most others agree with me now.
And we're not top two so your argument is purely hypothetical and unproveable. No, there wouldn't be protests, but it was never going to happen because we're nowhere near good enough.
