Thoughts from yesterday, fwiw
Thought Leeds were a good side, moved the ball with pace and used the width well. Put a lot of crosses in which normally would have us crumbling.
Leeds had more possession unlike last season when we had the majority of possession and lost.
Second half we closed them down more to stop their dominance in midfield, good team talk at half time from Farke.
Roofe is obviously a good player, but should try staying on his feet more rather than falling over so much. Pushing his hands into Pukki's face might have been red if Leeds were away from home. AND the brutal treatment dished out to Emi in the second half must have had the ref thinking of red.
Read the comments from Leeds fans on Waccoe.
Their complaint about time wasting is a bit rich. Remember last season at their place when after they went one up, the ball boys stopped retrieving the ball; when the ball went in to the crowd the fans kept it until the ref re-started with another ball then threw it back to stop the game?
Then there were howls of anger when the ref added something like 6 mins af time added on.
Sorry Leeds, you reap what you sow.
