run ins

ok, for what it's worth (maybe not much) this is the average points per game won by the opponents of the top 4 in their respective run ins - does that make sense? obviously this is fairly crude and doesn't take into account recent form over early season form etc

Leeds - 1.31 (9 home games v 1.37, 8 away games v 1.24)

Norwich 1.25 (8 home games v 1.24, 9 away games v 1.26)

Sheff Utd - 1.28 (9 home games v 1.12, 8 away games v 1.47)

WBA - 1.25 (9 home games v 1.31, 9 away games v 1.38)

so really not much in it (which is fair enough as we've all still got more than two-thirds of the division left to play)
