Fundamentally I can live with whatever the result is *as long as the result demonstrates a clear mandate for a particular course of action*.
If that's No Deal, then so be it.
As things stand I think it would be despicable for HMG to take us into a No Deal scenario when there is no evidence that that is what the majority of people want (particularly as some polling suggests the precise opposite).
Obviously for my sake, that of my children, and that of the majority of people in the UK, I'd prefer a Remain vote. But I'm under no illusions that a Remain win (or even a Deal win) is going to silence the Brexit brigade. Only a hard Brexit and the full ramifications of their choice is going to shut that lot up.
I often wonder if a No Deal result would be better for the long term good of the country if it lances the anti-EU boil and sees us return to the fold in 5-10 years' time with all the fervour of a convert.
