It was raining this morning so I took the tube to Temple

My Oystercard had run out and I had left my wallet in chambers so I couldn’t top it up or use a card

So I tried using Applepay and it worked

BUT - to my amazement it has only charged me 10p for a zone 1 journey, which I’m sure is less than I pay on an Oystercard.

Wossgewinorn? Is it a Known London Insider FACT that Apple Pay gets you a massive discount??
