Cityfathers and Nodgemums, advice pls.
Please give me your book recommendations for reading out loud to a class of Y2 kids (that's 6 and 7 year olds).
Not adverse to a Donaldson - I like her rythms - but not one of the obvious ones, or one of the s**t ones. (Like, for eg, Stick Man, Highway Rat, Tabby McTat, all good. Jack and the Frumfrum Tree or whatever the s**t that is, not so good. Similarly the one about the fish what's name escapes me. Also s**t).
