On hearing that half the squad were down with flu

that is a really good point in hindsight.

If people are finding a a lot of negatives from todays performance, I think you should focus on the character of the squad.

We lost our mainstay central defenders and played a good team that were really really up for that game.

Maybe I'm a glass half full kind of person, but I have taken a lot more positives than negatives from today's performance.
