shows its a pointless arguement, its not a reason he should stay in his job, its not an endorsment of his ability to mange our side, jsut a groundless fear we may not do any better, which is NEVER a reason to continue to employ someone in any role.

if you need more then consider walsall. Sacked Merson and recieved 41 applications for the job in a week, 17 of which were from managers currently in work.

If walsall currently 20th in league 1, with a poor squad, awful facilities, a poor ground, no momey and low crowds can get that many how many would we get?

We have a decent squad with some good players, and some poor ones. Excellent training facilities with an academy set-up, a great ground, momey to spend and we are the best supported team in this division, with better support than some premiership sides.
