Will it change the nature of the sport or the outcomes?

There have been dominant teams before - Banesto, Movistar etc. Some of them, like Astana for example, have a more questionable past than Sky. A lot of it (the sport) is so opaque though, it’d be nice to see a difference in that part of its nature.
