Since last time:
The U18s lost 0-3 to Man Utd in the PL League Cup., and after 2 defeats progression to the KO rounds of this competition is now impossible.
NCFC have not published the line-ups for this match but it did mark the debut (and substitution, injured) of a newly-signed goalkeeper, Daniel Barden (from Arsenal). This match also marked the return from injury of Jordan Thomas, who got 45 mins under his belt.
The identity of City’s FA Youth Cup Rd 3 opponents has now been established, with Port Vale beating Sutton Coldfield. The match will take place before Christmas.

The U23s also lost 0-3, to Athletic Bilboa in the PL international Cup. Idah, McCracken & Thorvaldsson (see below) were unavailable, but Todd Cantwell, Thomas & Phillips all topped up their fitness levels.

On international duty:
Maximilian Aarons played for U19s vs Iceland & Portugal. The game v Iceland saw him up against fellow-Canaries Atli Barkarson & Isak Thorvaldsson.
Atli & Isak played in 3 of the 4 games this period.
Meanwhile Adam Idah continues to find the net for Eire U18s, scoring in a 1-3 defeat to Eng and in a 1-0 victory over Netherlands.
