Another very vague request for a music artist

From the 70s.
British singer/ songwriter / guitarist.
His songs were a bit jokey (in the style of that Jilted John hit)
He had an album cover with an empty bottle of Southern Comfort on a table he’s sitting at and he’s crying.
The title of the album is something like
Baby’s up the duff, or, Baby’s got the clap.
Any ideas? It’s been driving me mad for over a week now.
