without a club. Then that he’s ended up falling down to playing in Scotland. Was thinking he’d be a perfect Farke signing. Free, pedigree footballing education (spurs and then Swansea), then stick had fallen, still young and needed an opportunity to prove what he could do.

And then I looked a bit closer and saw he has been struggling with alcohol, depression, gambling etc. Such a shame because I can understand why a lot of managers wouldn’t take that risk but on the other hand of he is ever going to get his life on track, somebody to give him a chance might be what he needs.

I was thinking that I’d be quite happy if we did something like give him a trial. And then I read that a Norwegian team had offered to break dundee’s record for transfer fee received to sign him, it was refused and then this August he left Dundee by triggering a release clause. But he triggered that to leave without a club. The Norwegian team didn’t sign him when he was now available on a free, and nobody else has picked him up. Something seriously wrong there I would say.
