Last year Edgbaston Test tickets were about £70 with Lords and the Oval being £120

That's for the India series. This year for the Ashes the Eric Hollies tickets were £105 with most tickets being £110-£120 (i didn't look to see if the Sunday is cheaper).

I do think they are pushing their luck a bit. Its a lot of money to pay for something that can be heavily affected by the weather. They will get away with it for the Aussies as its the Ashes (and I suppose I will moan but i will pay it as its an annual day out for me) but it will be interesting to see if they then keep the prices the same or drop them again against less attractive opposition.

Some of the prices for the World Cup games (not talking specifically Edgbaston here) were obscene.
