It's certainly a great intention, although I do feel that many of those fans will feel
that they are not anti-semitic and that singing "Skull Cap, baseball bat" is actually not racist, but simply a "bit of banter" with the Spurs fans.
So I do wonder about the effectiveness. But then I guess that if they change just one or two attitudes then it will all be worthwhile, so hats off to Abramovich for this.
And if it works, they should extend the programme to Feyenoord fans too. Maybe they could stop a few from singing the awful "Hamas" song which ends in "ssssssssss" (sound of hissing gas). Seriously. Can't say I've heard any football "banter" worse than that one.
