So why do they have an individual driversv championship?

Which gets all the attention. While the 'team' aspect renders it a bit of a farce in sporting terms.
That said, obviously F1 isn't really for sports fans, it's for people who like watching cars go round and round. Which they do, so I guess people will be happy.
