PM: Colin - been to Kinlochbervie. Perhaps the most desolate and lifeless

place I have ever been in my life. Great bnb at Old Schhol House and wonderful fish platter meal in their restaurant but f**king expensive. Best thing is a four mile walk to probably the most beautiful beach in uk - Sandwood Bay.
We got back from there about 8 and were unable to get anything to eat in or around Kinlochbervie - every thing (and that is precious little) was shut, utter ghost town. Ended up having cheese, oat crackers, fruit cake and wine in our room.
Unbelievably stunning scenery though.
Make sure uou are well provisioned
