Sounds like a good thing
Historically our fans always give miles better support when we are underdogs (playing one of the 'big' teams, man sent off etc) than when we are favourites, when they they tend whinge and get on the team's back almost straight away because they think we should be winning.
And I'd quite like Boro to see themselves as favourites as that seems more likely to make them complacent than to try harder.
I'm reality, of course, Farke's press conference comments will have absolutely zero impact whatsoever on the match.
