Definitely a rocky start for them. Would you prefer a manager who kept you up with boring
play (year after year) or take the risk of a fresh start that might not be so successful?
For me, how the team play is the most important part. We were great fun to watch in L1 and it was a joy to go to the matches. We were also great two seasons ago at CR, scoring loads of goals so I wasn't really bothered about not challenging for promotion. (I know the away fans had a much tougher season!). Last season was hard but I did quite enjoy the chance to watch Madderz. My least favourite seasons recently were the Hoots ones - even when we were in the Prem and finished comfortably. Each match was so stressful counting down the minutes that teams hadn't scored against us and knowing it was unlikely we were going to attack. If I had to put up with years and years of a system I didn't enjoy, I'm sure I'd be tempted to throw my lot in with something new and unproven and hope for the best.
Having said that, fingers crossed we have a magnificent game on Sunday and thrash them!
