I went to Birkdale last year - + Hoylake and Lytham previously.

Unfortunately Carnoustie is just too far away and inaccesible even by Scottish standards. Nearest accomodation is circa 40 miles away and I'm too old (i.e I like my creature comforts too much)
to use the campsite. Do love the Golf though. It's going to be a cracking finish tomorrow. Come on Tommy....
