if i'm not mistaken....

he was still on his first contract at the club...probably a very poor wage considering he was at the time a rising star in the team...when i spoke to him he said he wanted to be paid as much as the other higher earners at the club...not to much to ask when he was immense week in week out....worthington refused so he left.
