Played great football with a totally inexperienced team against Tunisia in the first half. Should have been 4 up at half time. Ate some flies. Flies in their eyes. Still won.

Smashed an incredulous bunch of ill disciplined c*** without breaking sweat.

Kicked off the park by a Colombia tema who knew our inexperienced lads were still better than them and still came through. First penalty shoot out win in 22 years by the way. Showed a bit of bottle.

Beat a well sub standard who'd only managed to beat France and Holland in their quali group and then knocked Italy out in the play offs.

Lost tonight, to a team with a fair bit of quality in it.

There's some perspective.
