Few thoughts on tonight's friendly

Leitner ran the show in the first half - looks a class act, have to say.

McClean looked pretty tidy and scored a lovely free-kick
Tettey was spraying passes around like Ian Crook used to!
New Finnish striker huffed and puffed but with little effect

Second half,

Rhodes looked really quite good - good runs, strong in the challenge, got a few shots off and looked keen to impress.

Thompson impressed, especially given his injuries over the last year or so. Can see him being a regular.

Hernandez was very lively and tricky

Yanic played well too, certainly at the beginning of the second half.

Unfortunate own goal - think it was more Ragget at fault.

All in all, came away fairly confident with what the season may bring. We seem to have a lot of depth, players worked well together, lots of neat football and certainly when Hernandez and Rhodes were on, had a decent attacking intent.
