Our club is being ruined by nice people who simply are not ruthless enough and don't have football brains.

I do not blame Nigel Worthington for not walking away. If I had a very lucrative contract, a board that refused to say a bad word against me and did whatever I said I would not walk away either.

I am afraid to say the current situation us the fans find ourselves in is simply down to the fact the board, nice people as they all are, refuse to realise that NW has lost the players, is tactically inept and very naive when it comes to the transfer market.

I believe that eventually the board will give in to the fans and get rid of Worthington. However it will be too late and the club will have been put back years. The parachute payments will have been wasted on more Etuhu's, Thorne's etc.

My worst fear is that due to the complete lack of a footballing brain on our board even when NW does go the board will appoint the wrong manager in his place. Instead of appointing a young up and coming manger such as Parkinson or Tilson they will go for someone who will talk the hind legs of the at interview and wow them. Look at their choices of mangers so far Rioch, Hamilton and Worthy hardly inspire me that they will get the right man in. I fully expect an old manger that has had is day to be appointed not the young hungry manger that would take us forward again. Step forward someone like Colin Todd, Brian Little or Craig Brown.

I have completely lost the faith.
