As I understand it

This latest bit of novichok was left over from the first attack. It was so well hidden that the massive police search failed to find it. Indeed so securely was it stashed that the torrential downpours that Salisbury had at the end of May failed to neutralise. And then it's found by two members of the public - and yet the friend who was with them all day didn't notice them discovering it. Which seems odd when you consider how securely it was hidden.

May well have been the Russians, but the continually contradictory and occasionally false statements made by our government suggest, at best, that they dont have a scooby doo whats going on.
